Workshop Fixed Fees

It's simple, fixed fees for work undertaken in workshop, find your cost prior to work commencement, still available also when computer is booked in via our free pickup and delivery service. In these times of economical hardship, it is often an advantage to know what you can expect to pay to have your computer fixed and decide if the cost is worth it or an upgrade would be more appropriate.

Fixed Prices

• Insert videocard and load drivers
• Replace power supply for computer and test
• New Install of computer operating system and drivers
• Install new Hard Disk Drive either replacement or as second drive
• Remove virus infection from computer
• General Service of computer (This should be done every six months like the service of your car! )
• Fix email problems
• Fix internet browser problems

General Servicing of Computer

Your computer should have a six monthly service, if done regularly then you can avoid a lot of the problems that computers may have prior to them becoming a real problem. We recommend that you have this service done every six months and will give discounts for all services after the first one. Some of the jobs done during the service:

• Strip the computer down, removing all components and then cleaning them.
• Run tests on the power supply testing all 5V and 12V lines
• Carry out a memory test
• Carry out a hard drive long test
• Look for problems in operating system
• Check for possible virus/trojans
• Supply a written report back to the customer with any findings and the recommendations for these findings. Any serious problems will be discussed with the customer and a care plan organised
